Job Description:
· Conduct in-depth research on China’s foreign direct investment laws, visa and immigration policies, banking regulations, contract laws, joint venture frameworks, and recent developments in foreign investment policies. Draft comprehensive internal memos summarizing findings.
· Research on the laws and regulations pertaining to U.S. direct investment on China’s businesses.
· Analyze legal issues related to China’s foreign exchange control, export control, wire transfer regulations, foreign investment permit, industrial policy and restriction, providing actionable insights.
· Assist our Chinese clients to prepare EB5 and L1 source of fund documentation and collect information for drafting EB5 or L1 business plans.
· Support U.S. clients with business feasibility studies, due diligence, and compliance processes, as well as identifying networks, resources, local partners, and professional services in China to facilitate collaboration.
· Develop FAQ content for publication on the company website, addressing key topics such as EB-5 and L-1 visa processes, China’s foreign investment laws, foreign exchange control regulations, and compliance issues.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in law, political science, business, or other law related degree. Equivalent foreign degree acceptable.
· Advanced legal research ability and communication skills.
· Familiar with China business practices, including foreign exchange control and know-hows on IP protection.
