Jinwen (Emily) Liu
Jinwen (Emily) Liu is an experienced immigration professional with specialization in legal research, legal writing and legal translation. Ms. Liu is licensed both in the State of New York and China. She has hands-on experience on a wide variety of immigration cases, including employment-based, investment-based, and family-based immigrations, and work visas. Currently, Ms. Liu focuses on L1, H1B, EB1C, EB5, and certain family-based immigration cases.
Ms. Liu earned her Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from University of Texas at Austin Law School in 2013 and gained her double Bachelor Degrees in Law and English from Shanghai International Studies University. She also obtained a minor degree in Economics from Fudan University. While in school, Ms. Liu served as the Vice President for Law School Student Association and received Outstanding Student Leader Award.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Deacon Zhang, Ms. Liu worked for a U.S. company and interned for a large law firm and multinational company. Ms. Liu’s strong care and commitment to clients comes from her own immigration background. She treats every case with enthusiasm and compassion and aims to provide the most effective and highest quality legal services.
